Arsenal transfer news: ‘Sign him up!’ Gunners supporters want Unai Emery to land David Alaba

Arsenal have been handed a boost in the transfer market with the news David Alaba is open to a Premier League move.

The Bayern Munich ace revealed in an interview he could ‘imagine seeing something else [in the future]’ as he ponders quitting the German side.

He also admitted a move to a top Premier League side would appeal, along with a switch to Real Madrid or Barcelona, if any interest became concrete.

And when pressed about his boyhood love for the Gunners in an interview with Bild, he said:  “I was [an Arsenal fan as a child]. When you’ve been an Arsenal fan as a kid you will be one your whole life in some way.”

This has certainly got the club’s supporters excited and they took to Twitter to encourage their current hierarchy to sign the Austria international – still only 26 – as you can see below.
