Tim Howard has unsurprisingly revealed he hopes that Liverpool do not win the Premier League this season – or during his lifetime.
With two games of the season remaining, Manchester City lead Liverpool by a single point and should they win their final fixtures, the title will head back to the Etihad for another year.
Howard joined Manchester United in 2003, before moving to Everton in 2006, where he would spend a decade at Goodison Park and become a fans’ favourite.
Now with Colorado Rapids, the American, 40, is hoping the trophy does not head to Merseyside come the end of the campaign.
